The player tries to beat the dealer's total without going over 21. Cards 2–9 count at face value, tens and picture cards count 10, an ace counts 1 or 11.
A blackjack is an ace plus a ten-value card as the first two cards. It beats any other 21.
Blackjack usually pays 3:2 — 1.5 times the bet. A bet of 100 wins 150, a bet of 250 wins 375.
Quick count: add half the bet to the bet. An odd half counts exactly: 75 + 37.5 = 112.5.
Some tables pay blackjack 6:5 (bet × 1.2) — worse for the player.
A regular win pays 1:1, insurance (up to half the bet when the dealer shows an ace) pays 2:1, a tie returns the bet.
In the trainer: the card shows the bet, the answer is the 3:2 blackjack win without the bet itself.
On Hard and Expert you also get blackjack 6:5 (bet × 1.2) and insurance 2:1 (the card shows the insurance amount, the answer is that × 2).
